Connector Nodes Cluster
Connecter Nodes cluster includes Source and Sink Nodes. These nodes are used to connect your data sources from 3rd party vendors.
Source Nodes are used to import data into Cortex.
Sink Nodes are used to export processed data from Cortex.
Each of these Node types, Source and Sink, comes with its own set of configurations.
Each Source and Sink Node's settings are accessible through the Settings button on Node Preview.
Sink and Source settings are compertmentalized into multiple Steps for configurations, allowing for a thematic arrangement of similar configurations.
Adding New Attributes
In the Connector Nodes Cluster (similar to the Buffer Nodes Cluster) you have the flexibility to declare New Attributes. This capability is a key differentiator from the Processing Nodes Cluster, where adding new attributes is not an option.
Connector Nodes, along with Buffer Nodes, are the main stages in your application's data flow for introducing new attributes. These nodes are pivotal in the creation of Node Units, ensuring that Processing Nodes, which are positioned between Connector and Buffer Nodes, contribute to efficient and seamless data processing.
