User Roles and Privileges

The User Roles and Privileges section details the capabilities associated with the Admin, Operator, and View-only roles within Cortex, specifically focusing on what users in each role can Edit and/or View.

• Edit is broadly defined to encompass any form of data manipulation or input, ranging from selecting options in a dropdown menu to entering information into a text field.

• Conversely, View is used to denote the ability to purely observe content without the capacity to make any alterations.

Role-based Acces Controls table have one of the following three combination for each Role.

Edit View	This combination implies that the user has the capability to both observe and alter the content.
View	This designation restricts the user to viewing content without the ability to make edits.
-	The absence of any designation in a box indicates that the user is neither permitted to view nor edit the content.
